tamil nationalist movement leader  P.Nedumaran continued his fast unto death at madras in Tamilnadu on saturday  amids appeals from various quarters, including  Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi.

Nedumaran began his fast at Nagapaddinam after his attempt to take medicines and relief materials in the tamils in Sri Lanka failed.

Speculations were rife about his arrest as the 74 years old leader’s health  deteriorated after a three days  fast.
